Just found this in my collection. It is pretty heavy and very bronze. I believe somebody once said it was some french medal sort of a thing. Does anyone have info on it?
This is the same thing, except that mine does not have the name "Elsa SCHIAPARELLI", but it could very well be faded. Also, the link mentions it as a silver, but mine is VERY bronzed color (I don't have the metal composition checking machine). And I tried the basic silver tests but not sure if it's making a pinging sound or not.
The one on the website could have been engraved to be presented to that person in particular. They (the city of Paris) may have commissioned a bunch in different metals to use as appropriate. The artist is a well known french sculptor and medalist.
