France 20 cent, error?

Hi everybody! Is it error?
I take it you mean the date 001? The 2 is messing from clogged die.
It is, what it is, or is it.
So it is a true error? Maybe someone is collecting this kind of coin?
Hi,

I think it has been manipulated after being minted....

A clogged die is nearly always leaving a bit of trace and here there is none!

I still see the shadow of the "2", but I don't know if it is clogged die or PMD.

Agree too. Look at the area surrounding the 2. Seems like some light grinding has been done. The colour of wear is not uniform.
Be kind to people. Sharing is Caring. Collect what you like and not by the Crowd.
To seek for perfection, it is too painful and there is a very high price to pay. To seek for something comfortable is more easy. To seek for nothing is even more easy.
very common error, not rare
