Can anyone help me out with this coin pls, Its quite large. I believe its 1692 but not sure

Not a coin, a reproduction of an Austrian Thaler.
Look at the stamped anno domini MCMLIII (1953)

Thank you Petrus , No we didnt clean it , We think it is gold , It was inherited , I have searched the internet for something similar but no joy. If anyone can send me a link to a gold re-strike that would be very helpful.
