Tier one items are typically associated with the winter relief funds, annual celebrations or special events such as the awards given to those who participated in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Prices usually vary between $10 - $20. Here's three examples from my collection to give you some idea of the range of values. From left to right, $10, $15 and a very well preserved "Worker's Day" pin, $20.

These should be corrosion free, intact including the clasp / pin and have the manufacturer's name and the model number on the back.
At the other end of the scale are the more formal awards which often conferred some benefit to the recipient, ranging from a pension, to a salute from Hitler Youth members. Shown is the Mother's Cross in bronze. Silver and gold versions were issued. These have considerably more value than the mass produced tier one awards.

Although my main interest is civilian awards I am always willing to consider anything from the period except for ammunition (of all the ways to exit this life, getting my fool head blown of handling unstable ordinance isn't going to be one of them) . I have almost completed collections of stamps and coins, missing only a few of the scarcest issues but in the case of genuinely uncirculated coins, especially the zinc issues it might be possible to upgrade an album slot here and there. Banknotes too I reckon. In the past I've traded coins for uniform patches, salvaged instruments, travel warrants... oh I could go on but you get the picture. It might seem like junk to you but folks are often pleasantly surprised.

Wehrmacht 1941 issue Mail / Ration sack.
No fake "Iron Crosses" please or "Hitler" coins and especially not those ghoulish modern fantasy "concentration camp coins". Due to the nature of the beast it might be necessary for you to mail the items for "in hand" inspection before anything is concluded. If the items are questionable or the offer unacceptable I will return them at my expense.
Got anything interesting? Luger Parabellum or a nice Eastern Front Wound Badge? Send me a message and let's talk.
