Is anyone interested in buying in bulk some USA cents? I accumulated a bunch from coin roll hunting and I just can’t get myself to dump them into a coin machine at the bank. I can either sell them by roll of the same year, a whole pound of them, a whole kg of them, individual coins, or however you want them. Buyer pays shipping, but I would prefer to do a face to face if buying bulk due to the weight.

Dont take them to the bank, wait until copper goes back up and sell them on craigslist...
Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!
Yes it is free. You don’t even need a account! Yes the police station is the best place. Some even have parking spots just for Craigslist. I do think going to the police station is a good idea but I am willing to meet with my customers in any public location.
BTW redsmithstudios why until copper goes up? It’s illegal to melt down copper pennies and nickels anyways.

Just because something is illegal doesn’t mean people don’t do it. And others are just waiting for the cent to be retired to cash in on the metal content, assuming it is no longer a crime when they stop making them.
I buy and sell on Craigslist all the time (Not coins, but many household things). Common sense and personal judgement is good to practice as in any sort of transaction, but I find it very easy to use.
Never met at the police station. I typically just meet people in the parking lot of a grocery store or gas station. Sometimes even at the person's house.

I almost never meet at a persons house. Only a Walgreens near my house.
You don’t need to melt them for them to hold their value. When copper went up back in the early 2000nds there were several lots for sale on eBay for $250,000 in copper!
I have about 30 rolls. I just sort my pennies and roll them up as I go. It’s not a big amount so it doesn’t tie up my money. If the dollar collapses, silver and copper will go up in value. If copper soars I can also sell it then.
