Many coins are not listed by KM.
On Numista, either the file is not up to date on Numista or the coin doesn't have a number because it is not listed by KM.

Yes, I realize that it a coin is not in the Krause catalogue, it has not been allocated a KM#, but my question is still the same.
How is the easiest way of finding out when they are allocated a KM#, apart from buying a new Krause catalogue every year.
There isn't really any easy way. They pretty much do want you to buy new catalogs every year.
NGC's online price guide is one place to look, but it's "powered by Krause Publications NumisMaster", which has been "having technical difficulties" for quite some time. It seems they just don't have the manpower to keep it working, let alone up to date. Plus, I believe NGC only get updates when a new edition came out.
