Opinion on grade of this New Zealand Half Crown 1940 [solved]

Would like a opinion on th grade of this florin as I feel I should keep this example. As I'm not similar with what I should be looking for on the reverse side and i know someone here is a type collector of this coin.
I would keep it too. They only made 100,000 of them and they were circulated. Yours looks to be in very nice condition and has VF - XF details based on the rather dark photos as far as i'm concerned.

Usually the detail on the grass skirt is the first thing to start wearing, yours is pretty good, I would go with VF+ - XF
What? Me Worry
VF to gVF

However this is a standard condition for this coin. Most were salted away after the 1939/1940 Centennial Celebrations. VF is the most common condition and its rare to find them in conditions under VF.

It is the only silver date like that (1933 - 1946), most silver half crowns of that era are Good to Fine and coins above VF are rare.

Here is the same coin in EF+ Condition for you!

I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.

Thank you for the grades. It's not the finest example but seem like it good enough to keep.
