I have a questionable 1932 China "Birds over Junk" coin in the verification/valuation section. There seems to be a difference of opinion and I would like to ask for a few more opinions. It should be interesting at the very least as it is a very questionable coin.
My opinion with Chinese solver dollars is that unless you can be 100% sure of the provenance of the coin, assume it's fake. It's too dangerous for non experts to buy Chinese silver dollars with the massive amount of fakes about

Thanks, that is some good advice. I can't believe how good of a fake it is though.
Normally I would cede to the knowledge of Petrus, he does a lot of identification on the forums. But if it's got all the right specs, then I can't see anything outstanding as to why it "definitely" a replica. Perhaps send a PM to him and ask for an explanation as to what brought him to that conclusion.

No, it's a low quality self sealing slab. Definitely a bad sign. I broke it out to weigh it. I guess a good question would be, "can they replicate the semi random toning spots found on it"?
