I took a chance on this. Am I correct in thinking that it was mis-sold as a British coin, and is, in fact a "Connecticut Copper"?
Is there any value to this in the state it is in?
Not my photos, the coin has not yet arrived. Thank you for looking!

Sold as a British copper? Wow! I would have taken the chance as well! Yes, it's a Connecticut copper, and not only that, the legend is
AUCTORI CONNECT
with the
T
, which seems to be scarcer than the usual
CONNEC
legend.
I'm not sure whether this variety is
listed in the catalogue
.
