Swapping security

I am thinking about becoming more active in swaps again and am adding coins to my list over the next week, but I am wondering what you all do for security regarding swaps? PO Box? Or are you ok with home address? If a PO Box how big of one is necessary?
I use a PO Box - the small size is fine for personal use and coin exchanges.

If you get too many "oversized" packages they can "flag" your box and tell you to get a bigger one.

But most people order so much stuff online these days so they understand...
I have about 70 swaps so far and I have never been asked to ship to a P.O. box. My experience is that a home address is the overwhelming choice for most here and I have never had a problem with providing my home address.
The PO Box is for my protection - I live in a city and work all day. Packages get nicked off the porch too often!

And I just shipped a couple things to a collector at his PO box this week. No problems on either side.

But I can see why a street address would make the transaction feel more secure - it removes some anonymity.

To each his own.
PO Box is not a bad idea. If you advertise the valuables you have then hand out your address to total strangers it is asking for trouble.

I wish I had enough "valuables" in my collection to have to worry about this :D
Over 50 swaps so far... all to home addresses, without incidents.

On the question of "registered" versus "regular" mail, it is too expensive to send registered from Canada so I've never sent it this way (and I don't expect my swap partners to do so) with no issues so far. And in my experience "registered" gives a false perception of security as they can also get lost (I can seldom track them all the way home) and they sometimes take longer to arrive as, for some unknown reason, I suspect they get stuck at customs for longer.
My 2 cents...

Thanks everyone. I have had swaps with my home address as well, I just have moved and am considering the PO Box for extra security, but the cost may not be worth it. I appreciate the viewpoints from you all as I consider. Although I think my wife would prefer a PO Box so that’s probably what I’ll end up doing haha
