Brass or Bronze, is there an easy way to tell the difference? [solved]

Hi all
I have an old token I want to add to the site, but the Atwood Coffee catalog number is based on what it is made of, it is 24.5 mm and weighs 3.936 grams, the Atwood# is IL235 ( B for Bronze) (C for Brass)
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Bronze tends towards pink and red, while brass is more yellow. Bronze patina tends to be some shade of light to dark brown while brass patina tends towards black.

Based on the few spots where the metal shows up on the first photo, I would say it's bronze.

such " old " coins are mostly bronze. brass tokens and coins are mostly after 1960 , Of course there are exceptions as well, but generally so.

I forgot to say that if you want to add it to the site, you should create a single page with two lines, one each for bronze and brass.
