A bunch of my early 20th century Italian coins would've made the list, but Victor Emmanuel III's visage disqualified most of them. :D (I mean, he looks like a fireman on the 1928 20 lire!)

So instead here are some French ones with awesome designs on both sides!

The redesign of French coins in 1897-1904 are in my opinion the most beautiful and striking circulation coins in France's numismatic history. My personal favourite is the reverse design by Daniel-Dupuis on the humble 5 and 10 centimes, but too bad the low relief design means the details often get mushed by the slightest wear. :( The striding Semeuse by Oscar Roty and Chaplain's Marianne and Rooster are also splendid designs to behold!

Will choose a few more later. :)
Loving all the tokens you show on here Zac, like the idea of a design on both sides without constraints of a monarch or leader taking up half the coin.here's just a few i like to add to your post.

Here are a few more I managed to find:

I finally found one with the high relief Pistrucci St. George design that didn't have a monarch occupying the other side; here it looks like they couldn't decide what to put on the coin so they just threw everything on! I spy two cornucopias, an anchor, a sword, a crown, an axe, some ropes, and a Union Jack is just visible on the upper right.

Another design with nice relief; the convex sun on the obverse is a particularly pleasing touch.

Finally here is one that does have monarchs taking up one half of the coin, but at least it still looks smashing!
