Hello,
I need some help identifying these coins that appear to be Kushan. Two of them are likely the same type, and I’ve seen something like those, but I’m unfamiliar with the other one. Any clues?
The first two coins are variations of the same coin type. They are post Kusana / pre Gupta Yaudheya coins, 3rd / 4th century AD.
obv.: Standing Karttikeya holding spear with his r. hand, his l. resting on hip, peacock with tail hanging down at Karttikeya's l. foot, circular Brahmi legend yaudheya ganasya jaya.
There are a few feathers difference between the peacock and the cock as shown on the coins. I am not able to distinguish them in the photos. There is a normal variation in weight and diameter with this type.
