Hi All,

I received this in an old coin collection I ended up with. Any ideas on how I start understanding what this is? B.

This is coming up at 2.50g (on my cheap scales)

it is 18.54mm at its widest,

Thanks all

Dan

Hello !
It's a Mamluk fals minted at Dimashq (Damas) under the Bahri dynasty.

The name inside the cartouche of the first picture seems to be Muhammad (you have to rotate this photo at about 110 degrees clockwise), so this one : https://fr.numista.com/catalogue/pieces138668.html
