Hey all,

I believe this coin is actually dated תשנ״ח which is 1998. It's easy to confuse with תשכ״ח which is 1968. The "Nun" נ And "Chaf" כ Look very similar.

Quick note. There aren't any Israel coins dated 1968 that have dates around the rim. However for 1998 there are a few. I think for 1998 the only coin that has beading is the 5 shekel coin

Yes Aaron, you are correct.
There was litte information about the coin, so that is why I only looked at the date
