Canada Postage Costs [solved]

Hi All

I have bought some coins from Canada (I'm a sucker for RCM coins!) and the shipper is saying that cheapest postage for 40 coins is C $52 (around 35 €) for about 35 or 40 coins to the UK not tracked.

Seems super high (even compared to the UK) am I being unreasonable? Is that about right? Any Canadian friends that can help?

According to the Canadian Postal site, 500gr standard international would be around $22.ooCDN. Anything over that would have to go by higher rates and mush be presented physically at a post office to calculate rate ..

I would say that $52.ooCDN for 40 coins would be a tad bit on the high side without tracking. That is, unless the coins are mainly sliver and very large .. That's coming close to what FedEX, DHL or UPS would charge ..
