Yeah, I suppose. More...appropriate images then?
Nice set you could turn it into a collection in its own right, have you thought about adding to your set the coins of other nations related to the Titanic like the UK or Ireland.
yes i would, would you like to donate ?  :D (;0

Stanley Lord, the Captain of the SS California was my Grandmother's uncle.  He was the man blamed for the loss of many lives because he failed to render assistance. The California was stopped in the same ice field as the Titanic was ploughing through at full speed but the radio operator had earlier been told to get off the air by the Titanic's operator because he was interfering with rich people's telegrams to New York.

The crew noticed what may have been the distress rockets fired by the Titanic and tried to signal the ship but got no response.

Both the US and UK inquiries found nothing to charge Captain Lord with but he was convicted by the press of cowardice. His reputation was restored by later writers who establshed the relative positions of the two ships were much further apart than the 1912 inquires had found and that even if Lord had moved in the direction of the flares he would have been unable to locate the ship. By this time Captain Lord has died. I recall attending his funeral as a very young boy.

Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.

 Wow - thanks pnightingale.
Also 'my illustrious ancestors' in the Topic  https://en.numista.com/forum/topic7956.html

Now there are two members on here who are related to famous people; and coincidentally I see they are after each other in this Topic. For those who do not know, james wolfe once told me that he is a direct descendant of THE James Wolfe, Major General (1727-1759). Look him up! Or to make it easier ...

James,
Yes I am selling them at current market value.
As Carpathia was the Austro-Hungarian vessel helping the Titanic...
and managed to get 1500 people out... my great-grandfather's brother "Dr. Lengyel" was a doctor in charge saving some lives on Carpathia, after the rescue from Titanic...
So am I now more important here?
