they are, but they have one major flaw... you cannot write anything on them ( I even tried metallic ink), and the surface is kind of glossy, so for an oily skin like me finger prints everywhere

Quote: "JustForFun"Who said Numsimatic is Boring?
Usually people who know next to nothing about numismatics.
A bit harsh really.
The phrase "to each their own" springs to mind. My dad is a train enthusiast and tried to get us into them as kids, so I probably know more about trains than most people, I just don't find them interesting. I'm guessing it's the same with coins. Neither of my boys seem interested in coins.

I have black inserts in my mylar flips and I found that a liquid ink white pen on them works well....you just have to write carefully and then leave them alone for about 10 minutes to make sure the ink is completely dry and won't smudge. The pen is similar to this one
Quote: "trvrhldr"So, based on the majority of opinions here, Numismatics IS boring, unless you get drunk.
Am I right?
I dont think so... I was having a blast upgrading coins, doing research in a very confortable place. A glass of wine or any drink its a plus... getting drunk is a complete different thing, perhaps you have heard or witness drinking till drop?
