Ottoman coin - real or fake?

Hello,
I need your help and opinion.

I recieved this coin, and I don't know what to think about it:

It's this coin in the catalogue : https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces40893.html

I am intrigued by the surface which is not smooth like with other coins but has a granulated feel like cast coins could have. What could explain this surface?
The color is also very 'silver' for a coin with 0.435 parts of silver.

Weight is 5,06 g
Diam. = 32.4 mm

Is this a genuine coin, or could it be a fake or a bellydancer coin?

The side with the tughra shows air bubbles, indicative of a cast coin.
Yes ─ most probably cast. There may well be a point on the edge which would show evidence of filing.

Noticed AH date of 1223 (AD 1808) and Regnal year 26 = AH 1248/9 (1832/3).

This would suggest it is of the Sultan Mahmud II (1808 - 1839) known as the great reformer. However if its fake, this is the coin its based on. Despite the Sultan being progressive this coin was still hand struck as Proper steam presses only arrived in Constanople in 1844.

This fake may have been part of a belly dancer's coin dress?
I love coins. Especially silver, gold and anything really old.
