Numista added 19,947 new users in 2018, increasing the total member tally by 23.3%.
In comparison, Numista added 15,286 new members in 2017, and 12,847 new members in 2016.
184 nations had at least one new member. 4,357 are American, 2,891 are French, 2,330 are Indian, 1,359 are British, 839 are Canadian, and 586 are Filipino.
Andorra, Angola, Aruba, Ascension Island, British Virgin Islands, Burundi, Cayman Islands, Chad, Congo, Curacao, East Timor, Falkland Islands, Faroe Islands, French Polynesia, Lesotho, Macau, Maldives, Mali, Marshall Islands, Niger, North Korea, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, Saint Pierre & Miquelon, Saint Vincent, Seychelles, South Georgia & South Sandwich Islands, Vanuatu, and Vatican City each gained one new member.
The first users from Equatorial Guinea and Kiribati each joined Numista in 2018.
Each of the top 20 nations on Numista grew by at least 18%. The Philippines grew the fastest (79%), and Russia grew the slowest (19%). Australia passed Brazil for 7th rank. France grew by 22.6% and the USA grew by 32.9%.
I would like to point out that the Philippines started 2018 at 16th rank, and ended 2018 at 13th rank, passing both Germany and Russia.
