Hello everybody, James here, Michael's Father in Law…Ol’ Mikey is about to make his triumphant return to your guys coin website and is ever so excited to do so. He was very sick for several months last year and we almost lost him. But now he is doing well again. This past summer we got him a brand-new state of the art fully electronic cat-chasing wheelchair, as well as upgrades to his voice talk / speech to text software for using the personal computer. He attended a young adult summer camp and took several classes about coin numismatics and coin collecting. He expanded his interests and has furthered his knowledge tremendously. He’s fully on the mend now and excited to start communicating with the folks on this website that he never EVER stops talking about!

Mike would like to say that, “I owe someone in France some coins and have to find out who it is, but I got to find him because it was from Easter last year.” He was running some contests and we were helping him. Sorting that situation out, is a big deal for him. I’m not entirely sure if we will help him do more contests in the future on this website or not, (as he gives me the eye) but we’ll see…

We returned to Florida for a little while after the hurricane and as a family have decided for now to stay in New York for at least for the time being. Ultimately, there are far more conveniences down south than here up north, but what we all went through was very difficult. Everyone has moved and we are going to help support Mike and his passion for collecting coins and other endeavors. I am sure there will be a lot of brambles and rambles from him in the months to come. I will personally help monitor his behaviours and help him with editing, light trading and communications with his pals here. Mike has improved in many regards, however has declined in some areas as well. All in all he and we are blessed what he is able to do. He’s got a remarkable brain for sure...

So moving forward, members of Mr. Canada’s family as well as myself, will help him make edits, complete trades, communications and correspondence in emails, help with his lists, requests for information, monitor his collection, sorting, ect. Mike really prefers to do EVERYTHING independently and he could have his way all the time, he would probably be on a computer 27 1/2 hours a day…He loves computation and tasking so much it’s sort of scary I might add. Early last year, Michael’s idol, Stephen William Hawking a famed theoretical physicist from the United Kingdom passed away. He was really devastated by this and in part made him ill with grief and anger. After several go arounds with counseling, the ship got righted once again. A difficult process indeed, however one we could anticipate and prepare for. We all learn as much about him as he enjoys learning about others.

Mike has prewritten and prerecorded several messages and posts for your website. He is eagerly waiting to share his two cents with the world. Over the next few weeks, we are going to put them up for view on the website. As I proof read this post to him aloud, he yells at me while laughing and says, “I am the one that is going to do this”! He literally spends countless hours on Microsoft Office and Excel creating lists and databases, painstakingly editing and organizing over and over again. He is absolutely relentless! As bright as his is, again, if I may ask of all of you, please be patient with him. He is very a smart lad, however, sometimes gets himself into it a bit over his head!

Well enough from me kind people…Without further ado, here is mr. xblamecanadax

Hi there everybody! :8D
Does anyone out there remember me?! :8D
I am the xblamecanadax :8D
I’m better now ok. :wiz:

I have not been able to do this thing for a long time!
I have not had internet for a while.
But now I can do it again!

I really miss this website! :D
I never stopped collecting coins though! :D
I went back to Florida and then went back to New York again.
In fact, I even went to a camp over the summer to learn about coins and collecting!
But it’s to damn cold up here.

I am excited to talk to everybody again!
I’ve been working very hard collecting coins from the United States and Canada.
But now, I am also into collecting coins from the United Kingdom and the Bahamas!
I especially like the England.

I also started to collect some silver coins.
My father in law says I got bit with the silver bug.
But I don’t even know what he is talking about because I did not get bit by a bug.
But I finally like silver coins a lot now!

And so, I have several goals that I want to try and achieve.
I really want to get to 50 trades!
Right now, I am at 45 I think.
It’s been a long time since I have done any trading, so think I will start with small trades.
I have ton’s of Canadian coins and others to trade now, but I have not gotten anything in my trade list right now.
So, if you are looking for certain coins to add to your collection let me know and I can add them.
I have a lot of different countries again now.
But is going to take me a long time to add everything all over again.

There are several other goals I would like to make too:

I want to complete my first international trade with somebody.
I mean I’ve traded with people in Canada and I still will even do that, but I would like to trade with someone from like England or Manchester United or Europe maybe one time

I would like to complete my first silver for silver trade. I probably want to do something small like one or two coins.
Probably United States Quarters or Canadian Quarters.
I think I would also like to trade with someone that I have traded with before when doing a silver trade.
Because now I like silver coins too.

I want to collect coins with rabbits on them because I like rabbits the most of all.

I want to collect British coins and coin books REALLY BAD!!! :8D
I am starting to trade again please

Welcome back!

I remember helping you find coins with rabbits on them way back over a year ago; since then I've added a whole series of Rabbit coins based on the Chinese Zodiac to the Singapore catalogue, so to celebrate your return here's a link to them all. :)

Enjoy: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?mode=simplifie&p=1&l=singapour&r=rabbit&e=&d=&ca=3&no=&i=&v=&m=&a=&t=&dg=&w=&u=&f=&g=&c=&tb=y&tc=y&tn=y&tp=y&tt=y&te=y&cat=y
Welcome back Mike! I'm looking forward to continuing our many discussions about coins and the world in general. Sorry to hear about the health issues but it's great to hear you're recovering. Quite a lot of people have asked about your well being.

I've got a few dog eared Whitman folders to which you're welcome, gratis. Pennies, farthing and sixpences I think plus US types too if you still need them. I threw a lot away but I've been holding on to some for you since your Florida home was destroyed by Irma, several Hurricanes ago. They're of no use to me and too ratty to sell. I've even got the coins that go in them to swap if you like.
Non illegitimis carborundum est.  Excellent advice for all coins.
Make Numismatics Great Again!
Congrats on the recovery Mike, Welcome back!:wiz:
Good luck filling out those coin books that pnightingale is kindly offering, I'm sure you'll have good fun.
May I recommend if you can find them to get some old British silver sixpences, shillings and such, I'm sure you'll find plenty for swap. Also the old Irish silver pre-decimal coins might be up your ally with your animal interests especially the sixpence hare.

Oh wow I can't even believe it! :8D
I remember all of you :wiz:
I was wondering where some of the other people are
I want to know where the one man is from Minnesota
CassTaylor I remember you because you are from France and you like to talk about the rabbits with me one time!
I can't believe all of those rabbit coins and they are silver and gold!!!
Can you imagine having all of them!!! :8D

pnightingale Oh man I remember you too man because you were in Florida like me!!! :8D :8D :8D
You are my favourite man!
You got me into all those British and English coins now!
I don't even know what you mean about coin books with dog eared on them?
Do you mean that those books you have dog ears on them?
But why?! :x
HAHAHAHAHA I'm not sure about that!
I definitely want to swap with you again!!!
I just have to figure somethings out again now.

Numismatist
hi man thanks you! :wiz:
I love you too dude!!!
I don't know if I will ever get any of those British sixpence silver coins, but I will try!
I like silver coins now for real and I know that sometimes you can get them for like a dollar and I didn't even know that!
But I have some now OK!!!
I have a lot of Irish coins too with cows on them and rabbits cause I love them so much!!! :8D
I am starting to trade again please

Good to have you back xblamecanadax! I can really tell you are enjoying the return to this community.

English coins are great to collect. All these different kings and queens and nondecimal coins that are pretty cheap.
