Messages not being Answered [solved]

6 posts
I wish there was a way to tell if my messages was being read. I send messages for swaps and get no answer. I don't know if they are reading and being ignored or not around to to read it. It would be nice if there was some way to tell if the messages are even being opened. Just a thought.

Hey David,

I'm not sure how reliable this is, but I think we already have that indication; to the left of each message in your "sent" messages, is a little symbol that shows if the recipient has opened your message:

(The top one hasn't been opened yet, and the bottom one has been.)

I think that's if I read it, not if the other person read mine. Or am I wrong?

I think so, because there's not much point in indicating whether the sender has read a message that they sent. :|

Something similar exists in the Numista "inbox" of messages, where there are three symbols; one for unread, one for read, and one for replied.

I don't know guess I'm confused. I send a message for a swap. After a couple weeks he/she doesn't answer. How do I know he/she even opened the message? Guess I'm getting too old for this. Thanks anyway and have a Merry Christmas.

I think you are on the wrong page. Go to the top of the page and after your name is a letter icon. Click that and then click on "go to sentbox". From there follow CassTaylor instructions above.
