Small unmarked coin - possibly Middle East?

Another day another oddity...

Here's a sweet little coin--around 10mm with a lion or gryffon on the front and what appear to be pyramids or mountains on the back. Aside from the date it has no markings to help sort its identity out.

P.S. I have sent in an amendment request; there were no descriptions on the above page, otherwise
lion  mountains  in a search would have found it sooner.  :)
