At the bottom of the "My collection" page there is a section that says "Export". What is this for? I can pick one of three choices. What is being exported and to where is my choice being exported? Is this for swapping? Also a fellow member wants to swap with me and wants me to give him a list of my coins available for swap. I've never swapped before and I don't know how to do this.
It allows you to "Export" from Numista to your computer an Excel spreadsheet of your coins. That way you can print or otherwise edit your collection. It's a neat feature, I use it sometimes, mostly to calculate precious metal weights.
Thank you. Can anyone answer the second part of my question? A fellow member wants to swap with me and wants me to give him a list of my coins available for swap. He sent me his list with boxes to check any coins that I want. I've never swapped before and I don't know how to do this.
I'm surprised that you've been on here for 3 years and no one has asked you to swap.
What you do is look through the other individuals coins to swap, and on that page with the check boxes there should be a link to their page. You select which of their coins you are interested in and add them to the swap, and between the two of you decide on what is fair, and then send the coins.
I've never had a problem with anyone on here, but there are a few scammers, the moderators try to keep those people out.
Just have fun with it.
Thanks again. He's asking for a list of my coins available for swap. How do I send him my list? I could be wrong but I thought he could see my coins available for swap from his end. I'm starting to get frustrated. Lol.
