Are we allowed to replace coin photos copyrighted ©Numista? [solved]

Hello,

Recently I had a few modification requests to replace photos of coins in the catalogue that were attributed "©Numista". I remember reading somewhere that "©Numista" means they're Xavier's photos, and shouldn't be replaced, so I wanted to confirm if that is true or not before accepting/denying the requests.

Hello.
Indeed, it was previously mentioned somewhere. Given that these images are the most authentic for the site, I would not change them.

These are pictures made by Xavier himself. It is not forbidden to replace them, if we have some that are better.

​Yes and I seem to remember that 'Numista' images may be replaced only by member's pics (not website library) and only if they are a significant improvement.
