Could these brass stamping designs be based on Indian Mughal Coins?

My apologies for posting brass stampings and not coins, but I am trying to identify these patterns or meanings and I thought there may be some connection to coins. Any ideas?

They remind me of imitations of gold coins, usually used on belly-dancer costumes. Not sure which coins exactly yours are based off of, but Ottoman coins are usually the most commonly imitated for this purpose.
