Small copper coin [solved]

6 posts
Hello, I have a small copper coin, and I can not find where it's come from.
Can someone help me ??
Thanks ..

Weight ; 0,9 gr .
Diameter approx 15 mm.
At one side I see 2 keys, and the other side I read ?? LVSAVINSI  ??

Maybe - as it should be 17.5mm but yours has edges clipped so could be correct.

(France - Feudal) Comtat Venaissin
Patard d' Avignon - Urban VIII

Obverse: Crossed keys
Lettering: VRBANVS VIII PONT MAX
[URBANUS VIII PONTIFEX MAXIMUS] = Urban the Eighth, the Greatest Priest

Reverse: Cross in quadrilobe
Lettering: S PETRVS ET PAVLVS AVEN
[SANCTUS PETRUS ET PAULUS AVENIONEM] = Saint Peter and Paul, Avignon

So then ??LVSAVINSI?? is ...LVS AVEN / S P..... .. ... with ETRVS ET PAV missing/clipped. :)

[known in yellow, missing in green]

However, if not Urban VIII then maybe Paul V instead.

Hello,

Yours is a billon patard from the Comtat Venaissin, a small enclave of the Papal States around the city of Avignon in France.

Very nice coin!!
Non est totum quod splendet ut aurum
Rijkdom bestaat niet uit het hebben van veel bezittingen, maar in het hebben van weinig behoeften
The P of Paul V is partially visible on the obverse.
