There have been many posts where we have talked about coins that we have added/that we have not yet added, that are pending but here you can tell what coins you have been adding to the catalogue lately.
I have added more than ever during this week. Mostly Finnish pattern coins, but also pattern strikes:
I made a "challenge" for myself, to add one coin from every country. Norway, Russia (USSR and Empire, not the modern Russia), Cambodia, Slovakia, Afghanistan and Philippines include the other countries I have added coins to. What about you?
Adding coins is always a nice thing to do (if it has enough information. For new Numista members, remember to include common details such as the country if it's in the catalogue, worth if it has a worth, type, if you own the coin and its more common than the usual pattern strikes include so much information that you can) and it's free! No need to purchase a coin, if you have enough information about it to add it
If you are searching for coins to add, check https://www.coinarchives.com it has a lot of information about medium rare patterns, rare coins and of course more common coins too, if you are searching for ones to add.
I have so far added two £5 coins from Jersey which were presents to me a few years ago.
In the future I plan to add a similar Guernsey Crown (when I get the time that is).

I actually have three coins I plan on adding to the catalogue that I own:
- A Bath city souvenir "coin",
- 3 Falus from Morocco,
- and a Paavo Väyrynen 10 Markkaa token that I have tried adding 3 times but every time I have tried it somehow has not succeeded. My internet has "crashed" every single time.
Also some other coins I plan on adding (all patterns):
- A 10 Réis from Brazil, pattern,
- Portugese India 600R,
- Honduras 10 Pesos,
- Indonesian 50 Sen,
- Possibly the Yugoslavian 1 and 10 Dinars,
- and a swiss franc.
Most of the patterns not yet in the catalogue are quite rare.
I need to get back to doing my additions. They started a thread to hold the photos (and info) for me to add in coins: https://en.numista.com/forum/topic72702.html#p602604 . I started with the oldest ones, since Numista coverage is weakest in the ancient era.
As well as pretty much every single one of the modern commemoratives from the countries of Haiti, Singapore, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Congo - Republic, and Niger.
And then of course there's the trial strikes I've added; pretty much every single one from French Indochina/Cochinchina/Tonkin, Straits Settlements, Hong Kong, Ceylon, Haiti, Niger, and Gold Coast were mine.
Always happy to enrich the Numista catalogue and community with my abilities!
So far I have added 418 coins/tokens to Numista. A large majority of these have been transportation tokens, "Centennial Dollars" and other related issues. I still have several hundred to add, so there be many as I get the time. I tend to add in waves. Sometimes I am in the mood and will add several items and then go days or weeks and not make an entry.
Hello,
I am now at 1164, mostly Habsburg period and realm. It gets slower because of the difficulty to find pics of the missing coins.
Also now have less time to find and check the info for each coin. I also like to fill both french and english, which again slows down the process.
I keep wondering about the interest of adding 25000 euros coins but still do it.
The best reward for me is when I find out months after adding a coin that someone finally marked it for his/her collection.
Happy collecting to all !

Does anyone ever get the urge to try and add all the Liberian coins from the World Coin catalog? I don't really collect them, but I pick up any animal themed ones when I find them for cheap. And I end up with a few silver ones because they are usually selling for spot in the dealers junk boxes.
But it is just such a huge cluster, a sprawling mess I want to impose some order on...
4066 coins added so far, mostly must have been from the German states.
Hope that someday all of the German States coins are on Numista but its still a long task

Added a few patterns, many Finnish patterns and even a common coin.
I currently have two Chinese, two German, one Moroccan, one Thai, one Yugoslavian, four Swedish and one Danish coin pending. Still going to add a Bath city token, a Finnish token, the 75pen coin, a nepal 1/4 jawa and maybe more Thai coins before 13.10, when I'm going to go on a holiday. I'm trying to get everything done before that. I would like to start adding coins without starting to worry about 1 or even 2 month old requests still pending. I've even thought of cancelling some of them, but that would make no sense at all. I'll just leave them there, maybe one day they will get accepted or rejected.
I added 150 coins i owned in the catalog (medieval and ancient), 1 token and 5 other coins so far.
Few more are waiting for validation and I still have some others to study before adding them on the catalog.
Big thanks to the referees who helps me with that and especially simoneo80 : I almost give him work to do every day since few weeks

Now before I will go on the holiday I got 2 tricky ones left: The 10 Markkaa 2017 Paavo Väyrynen token which I have failed to add 3 times because of the internet connection and the P.U. Helle scam 75 Penniä 1863.
