Many coins have only Proof here, although they actually have BU too

For example, this coin:

No BU there. And no possibility to add, and it's written: The list of years is complete and has been verified.

I tried many searches and can't find the BU version of this coin. Also strange, that this Proof coin has Bullion in title, although Perth Mint releases them as Numismatic coins.

Easy to check versions and mintages:

Perth Mint sheet we can see, that it has BU with mintage 63,644:

Hi RomanCollector .... The problem is the Perth Mint just keep churning out masses of Granny Bait coins. They are not used in circulation and are usually not the standard size or weight of normal Australian circulation coins.

Personally I only collect coins issued by the Royal Australian Mint, both circulation ones and NCLT ones. At least the RAM issues NCLT coins in the correct size and shape of the face value coins that they are based on.

I take some pride in keeping the Australian Decimal releases by the RAM up to date in Numista. But I won't go near the Perth Mint stuff and I have no idea of who is updating them?

Cheers Mike

Perth Mint products are mostly bullion coins that also have lower mintage proof/colored/gilt/privy mark collector versions which you can order directly from their site. It'd be silly to expect them to have the same specs as circulation coins. They do have specs standardized within their individual series, i.e. Koalas, Kookaburras, Lunar series I and II, etc.

Perth Mint documentation is freely available online at
http://www.perthmint.com/investment-bullion-bars-and-coins-mintages.aspx and http://www.perthmint.com/numismatic-mintages.aspx and is far more complete than what you will find in either Krause, or here on Numista. Colnect's catalogue provides better coverage, but is probably not 100% complete, either. The big catch with Perth Mint docs is figuring out mintage totals because all the mintages are broken down by packaging type, i.e. rolls, individual box, and various multi-coin sets.

Krause is rather inconsistent with these coins. Sometimes, they'll have BU and proof listed with the same number, sometimes each variant will have a separate sub-type, and other times they have completely separate KM#s.
