Hello agb1702,
There seems to be a resemblence in the heads, my first thought was King George V en Queen Mary Great Britain.
There is a medal from 1935:

There are more similar medals on internet from George V that have a head design that looks like what you have.
Not your coin but you could try searching in that area.
Good luck!
Maybe it also had a loop at the top, as when it was removed there was an extra part removed to create the indent in the token at the top. There are several United Kingdom tokens on here with similar dual portrait designs ...

but none have similar reverse lettering.

I cropped and reversed colours of the token and maybe can see some letters ...

with maybe UE at the top but does not look like a Q before it so cannot be QUEEN, and in middle left maybe IN with perhaps G after it and vaguely K before it so could be KING. Any letters you can see when you have it in hand?
Though may not be UE but UB with I after, but still does not look like a J before it so can not be JUBILEE.

Just spent the past part of an hour trying to identify this coin. Lol.
Love a good mystery.

Would seem to be a Jubilee coin or Coronation coin. There are clearly two busts shown, though the heads seem to be well rounded indicating no actual crowns being worn. Lettering on the back would seem to relate to some script being written there in rather large lettering leaving little or no room for anything else.

I have looked and looked. It's driving me crazy. :snif:

Maybe we should have competitions to ID stuff like this? :8D
