I found this by the lake by the boat launch. Last week Everything is good on it ,weight and dia. Pasted my silver tests. Now what should I do with it? turn in to sheriff, or gave to a good cause. or keep. What would you do.

I know how you feel. I’d say because you didn’t see who dropped it and clearly you’ve tried, you can keep it.
I usually hand anything of value in to the police. Over here if nobody claims it within a month or two you get it back.

Seems like you tried to find the rightful owner without success. Keep it and enjoy.... (just dont drop it somewhere for another lucky guy to find).

Ok, so it's a lucky coin, but now it has found it's way to you. You have done all you can to find the old owner but obviously the coin is now yours. Keep it in your pocket and maybe it will bring you luck (smiles) till it decides to leave you and move on. As you said... it is well worn.
