I just received some coins from this member:

Since I bought the coins I can not find ann other way to leave some feedback
.
It was new to me, receiving coins send in New Zealand to Belgium
The customs did not know what to do with the contents as it was named 'hobby materials'.
So they asked me for some explanation , and I had to confirm what was mentioned on the parcel.

It complete transaction took a month to complete, but everything went very smooth!
The money transfer to New Zealand, the custom taxes and the postage asked some money, but it was worth to do!
I just can recommend Bas as seller/swapper of coins!
I will surely do it again!!!

Thanks Bas!

I have swapped and bought coins from New Zealand, many times. Usually less than 150 g packages with no customs. The only difference is the mailing time, it just take pretty long time to mail from NZ to EU. I never mention to customs or mailing office that my package contains coins, and I have had no problems.

I agree. I have many swapped with folks from New Zealand quite a few times, and always had positive experiences. Shipping may take a little longer, but always worth the wait.

Its possible to send upto 200 grams (gross) by NZPost to all overseas destinations at a very reasonable rate. No customs form is required.

Anything over the 200 grams is classed as a parcel with higher rates. A customs form is then also required and from experience its hit and miss whether customs at the receiving end do an inspection. Belgium customs took an interest in the lot mentioned and even classed as a gift (hobby materials) and under taxable value demanded additional payment. Similar packages to USA have sailed through with no interference from customs.

The USA has no import duty on numismatic coins.
