Hi y'all
When adding new coin and you make a mistake with numeric parameter, lets say you input weight as 3,6 and not 3.6 and add new coin, Numista site replies with warning of bad entry. OK with this, but the site does not retain picture data, who made the picture and name of author. This is for sure with reverse and obverse, but probably same thing also with edge. Is this intentional or has this really been overlooked? With every extra click grrrr....
Best regards, miki
getting the same error at the moment when trying to add pictures "Image saving failed."

Bonjour Xavier,
pas de chance pour la copie d'écran, je n'ai pu la faire car les 12 que je viens d"envoyer dont celles qui ne passaient pas hier et ce matin, sont bien passées.
Merci si tu as trouvé qqchose, sinon désolé du dérangement.
Thanks, that's good news. I made a change this morning to try to solve the issue, but I was surprised by the error message provided. If it's fixed, no need for screenshots ;)
To reply to the original question, I agree it can be painful to lose the images because of a typo somewhere else. Losing the picture is a limitation from web forms, with no simple workaround. What I can do is to validate the other fields more quickly, so that you can correct before submitting and not lose the picture.

Hello Miki,
Numeric fields like the weight are now shown in red as soon as you enter a wrong format and you will not be able to validate the form until the format is correct, hence avoiding losing the picture.

Hi
Sorry for my late reply. Yes, real time checking works perfectly. I would though rather paint field background with red, but still its great improvement.
thank you
