Hello everyone:
This post is to see if anyone can explain to me what is the correct way to enter commemorative coins in the catalog of Numista. I explain with an example:
Ukraine currency, 2 Hryvni, KM 42, https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces18249.html
Commemorate the "80th anniversary of the Battle of Kruty" and belongs to the series "Rebirth of Ukrainian Statehood "
How should it be introduced? Where is the series introduced to which the coin belongs? Which field is used for what?
Sorry for my english

For commemorative coins you should include what's being commemorated in two places; in the title, for example: 2 Schilling (Franz Schubert)
Then in this line:
You can include a more detailed commemorative line about what it's commemorating, for example: 100th anniversary of the death of Franz Schubert
Finally, if you want to put in more details, put them in comments section:
Quote: "oynbcn"Ok, thanks a lot for your help. If I understand well, then in the example I gave the correct should be:
In the title: 2 Hryvni (Battle of Kruty)
In the file "conmemorated event": Rebirth of Ukrainian Statehood - 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Kruty
Is it correct?
Regards,
One slight correction that I would like to offer from a grammatical point of view is that 'anniversary' does not need to be capitalised, so '80th anniversary ..' would be the correct form.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.
