And image can say more than you can smell.
Yes, US first class stamps that are scratch and sniff.
Now are we the first country to make this major step? Are there any other country's out there with scratch and sniff stamps? I have to say when I saw them had to get. So all ye Americans if you want some scratch and sniff stamps, run down to your post office.
Not sure if any of the coins are legal tender. And Benin was supposed to be part of a series, which I can't find any evidence of existing (didn't try hard).
So we've already been there and done that, I see....
More rigid, orthodox collectors might disagree, but I think it would be cool to have a circulating, legal tender common coin with a "scratch and sniff" scent of some local symbol, perhaps a national flower (like the chrysanthemum for Japan, for example).

Does anyone know how long scratch and sniff things work for?
I know a PC game Pizza Empire or so that smelt like oregano for a very long time, 10+ years.
If you don't expose them to too much light or high temperature with low airflow the smell should last quite a long time depending on the type of fragrant used as well as the amount.
