states that 1 peseta 1953 (1954) has mintage

1953 54 40,272,000 Cal#84
These are the same data as the same as SCWC gives.

The local catalog https://www.catalogodemonedas.es/?q=catalogo/monedas/25/111/230 gives another number
1 Peseta 1953 *19-54 Madrid. 6.000.000

The same situation is for many other years such as 1947 (1948) and so on.

What should be written then?

In 1947 (actually 1948) there was a government order to mint 150,000,000 coins of 1 peseta. A new order extended it in 1953; but when the minting began according to the 1953 order, the 1947 quota had not yet been finished, so it was used.

Then in 1955 were minted coins with 1947 (with stars 19-54 and 19-56) and 1954 (19-54 and 19-56). It isn't sure how many coins each year-stars. Aledon (likely the best reference for pesetas) says:

1947 (19-54) 37.000.000
1947 (19-56) 13.000.000
1953 (19-54) 6.000.000
1953 (19-56) 108.000.000
