Maybe the member redsmithstudios can make one (though a coin may be too small compared to his usual creations) - he has made some brilliant things in copper.

It is post to UK only i.e. sent to me; then I post to you (along with normal coins in a swap maybe), and you could use it as a gap filler - until you purchase the real thing ...
I think the design should reflect the international community of Numista and the virtues this site encourage like cooperation and friendship among those who may be different but share a common hobby.

Yeah good call, alastair, I was thinking the same thing. Something that relates to world coinage and sharing and swapping across the globe.
Just because you can't see it ... doesn't mean it isn't there - Anon.
Since every time we go on Numista and we're going to see that header, I'm thinking it should stay the same but be renewed. Honestly, I've always liked the design on the top, but if the coins looked more realistic, it would look even better.

As other members had a recent thing for bringing back old Topics, here is one I started last year.
So this month is the six-year anniversary of when Numista started.

The Stuttgart mint of Germany mints medals for private customers, altough I'm pretty sure there must be a minimum of ordered medals + its probably super expensive. http://www.staatlichemuenzenbw.de/en/about-us.html

Maybe for the 10th anniversary, it'd be worth it. Hopefully the *Tokens* section will still be around for it...

After my 1st Initial Delve with Numista I find the Community Mostly very Helpful and am very Grateful for the help members have given me my knowledge is with English Coinage this I know on a Armature Level over 60 Years and I collect coins and related Items that I like not for there Value but for there Art and Interest but over the Years my Collections Value has grown considerably but as I will never sell it my Children and grandchildren will have a good time at my Expense I hope Thank you Numista for giving me an incite to other world of Coins and Bank Notes and think sharing Knowledge is a very good though sometimes I do get it Wrong. This is my other Passion I only have 4 now and I don't ride them in the winter anymore as the Car has heated Seats.

I personally have found Numista to be a god send and thanks to this website I have finally been able to fully catalogue my collection and keep track of it. Not only that, it has made swapping so easy and about as safe as I could wish for with the rating system. I must also admit how impressed I am with all the functionality and the constant improvements since I started using it in late 2013. I am grateful to Xavier and all the other members who have given their time for a greater public good. And even more impressive how much patience they have in putting up with often ugly and non-constructive comments as people have come and gone. I hope Numista will keep marching into the future as strongly as it has for the last 14yrs!
