agree that is one feature I would like to see. I am new here, but have been posting in internet forums since BB days. I like this forum, it works fine, and is free of spam, but the interface appears a bit homemade, or antiquated..0:)

This would give insight if nobody read a thread and you have to promote it a bit more or that nobody knows the answer or has something to say about it.

You should tick the field "My message is an idea to improve Numista" for this thread that Xavier can find it.

I don't see much point in it personally. To me it's just for the kind of person that only gets a sense of accomplishment or an ego boost by getting lots of likes on facebook. Just post stuff you think is entertaining or interesting, if people read it, fine, if they don't, who cares?

Neil: I don't believe the poster is interested in sense of accomplishment or an ego boost by getting lots of reads or likes as it is how many members are interested in what your posting and having an area to see that will indicate it.
I believe a person's accomplishments or ego boost are his/her personal satisfaction goal and not how many reads or likes they get. Most accomplished people don't need to verify it other than their self's.​

It can be useful sometimes for the "Coin identifications and valuation" section : if you notice your topic was only read few times and nobody check it anymore, it's maybe time to repop it if you didn't get any answers :O

Personally, if I don't go on Numista during few weeks or more, I don't bother to check if coins are still waiting for an identification in this section :°

I just implemented this feature. The number of times a forum thread has been viewed is displayed at the top of the thread.
Since the views were not counted before now, I prefer to show the count only for new forum posts, starting from this one.
