Hello to all collectors i need to ask you few questions about this.
Is real minted in 1796? If yes why is here no used French revolutionary calendar?
why this token was minted?
Know you about something (coin, token or whatever else) that was with Napoleon s name or his portrait, what is older than 1796?
Thank you for all answers.
Have a nice day

To answer your questions one by one:

I don't doubt it was minted in 1796, since political medals/tokens were very common across Europe at the time. Why the revolutionary calendar was not used could be from a variety of reasons, for example simply not bothering to do so.

Minted probably to commemorate a victory; in 1796 Napoleon was commanding the Army of Italy. The reverse text "LES FRUITS DE SES ACTIONS" (the fruits of his actions) would imply that it's a commemorative medal for a victory in battle.

There likely aren't many tokens/medals bearing Napoleon's portrait from before 1796, since he was a virtually unknown artillery officer until the year before, when he gained fame from dispersing protestors in Paris with cannons. Interesting to note how "BUONAPARTE" (the Italian form of his surname) is being used here on this early medal.
It is a Nuremberg Rechenpfennige Counter token made by LAUER 1796

Link 2:
There are three varieties of this piece; the other two are described in the two following numbers. These three tokens are of a very bad execution. They were very much multiplied, and there are even various coins which have only slight differences, and do not deserve to be described separately. These jetons were minted in Germany and probably in Nuremberg.

Our sheets modified and completed. The type with head turned left was also already there. I moved them to Germany - Counter tokens which is I think better.
You find them both with search "Buonaparte".
