Reversal of a swap confirmation

Hi all.
I am seeking some advice on whether or not a swap can be un confirmed or do I have to create a new swap? I meant to press to view my swap partners profile, to add more coins to a swap but pressed the confirm swap button instead. Now I cannot add/remove any coins from the swap.

In such a case I cancel the swap with the agreement of my partner and I open a new swap, but maybe there is a more simple solution.

You can also just ask your swap partner to refuse your proposal and then you can continue adding coins. Much less bother than opening a new swap

If the swap partner refuses the swap, this one is closed....and you have to open a new one, haven’t you?

No, if he refuses the proposal you can again change it and just continues with the same swap. Only when you have both confirmed it (by mistake) is a new swap needed. I have hit that button by mistake a few times as well, so I'm very sure it works. There is indeed this big red sign "DENIED", but once you start changing the swap it just disappears again as if nothing ever happened.

Maybe a second confirmation might be useful for such cases, but as it is reversible (unlike the final confirmation by your swap partner), not a matter of life and death

Thanks for the advice guys. I will have to bear that in mind for future as no doubt I will do it again. I was trying to press to view my swappers profile, to add more coins but the confirm button is quite close. Especially for someone with great big sausage fingers like mine

Even while using a mouse or with regular wiener-fingers that button has been too close in the past, been there done that! ;)
