Hi,

Have any of you on here got any crazy hyper-inflation money they would be willing to sell me :wiz:

I nearly bought some banknotes a few years ago when they were definitely a hell of a lot cheaper than they are now... £100 :8D
How much inflation money could you buy for £100? I have an uncirculated 100 Trillion dollars note that I got for €7. I don't sell or swap banknotes, but I'm sorta curious to know.

Not much! An uncirculated 100 Trillion Dollars note is around £80-£100 now, i wish i bought one a couple years ago when they were around £5 :o
I have doubts you can buy this note now cheaper than 50-60 EUR. As far as I know the dealer who fully controls its market and who had bought most of press notes in Zimbabwe few years ago buy it back now per 55 EUR and offer a wholesale at 60-65 EUR, so in retail it costs now 75 EUR+

Here are my Zimbabwean inflation notes... long way from a complete set but I mainly collect older notes so modern stuff isn't really my thing; but I had the chance to get some and from what you're saying it looks like I made the right choice back then. :wiz:

yes it is crazy! everyone's money and savings literally become worthless :o

Thank you B) i really want the coin but i want to find it in change not pay for it!
I'm sure ill give in soon enough and buy the silver proof though :D
This is my full set of the ZWR:

If you are too tired to count, it's 180,086,861,681,636 dollars. :8D

I haven't spent even near £100 for it. Took me a few years though, since I just picked up the notes a little here and there. I got the 10, 50, and 100 trillion in a lot for like £7. If I knew then what I know now I would've bought more than one. Well, well.
I bought this one hundred billion dollar note a few weeks ago for 15 pounds.

I had read this tread the same day that I bought it and thought it was a good decision at the time because it said that the note was original.
could you tell me if you think it was worth buying for this price?

Thanks,
Regards Ben
