Sirs of the Numista team, good morning!
I confess that I have also been a little surprised by the new version of Numista. Accompanying the topic of the Forum that has long dealt with the subject, I observed that it was not a strangeness of mine alone, other users and even collaborators were surprised by the new version.
Regardless of the contrary arguments, I insisted on use with the new features. Now I can confess that I am enjoying it very much and I understand that the advantages supplement the disadvantages of the inevitable pollution of the layout.
I dare to give some suggestions that I believe are not difficult to implement, there they will:
• Inclusion of a field for date of acquisition of the piece with its consequent reflection in the Excel spreadsheet exported. Reason: I, and I believe that many other users, besides counting the pieces in the Numista, also do it in a spreadsheet, only in this case, I, also record the date of the acquisition of the piece. This helps filter the pieces by date, vendor (entered in the existing private note) or both, and get the cash value information from the whole collection or by any filtered criteria. If the date is also implemented in the near future, this will prevent double work.
• I noticed that when I enter the price I do it in the local currency of my geographic location. Great! But I also noticed that the monetary unit, for my case (Brazil - R$) comes as "BRL". Would it not be more appropriate to change the monetary acronym for the official of the country, as for example, with the countries of the Euro zone, that is, from "BRL" to "R$"?
I am waiting for your analysis and considerations.
A good job to all!
