Looking for some royal portraits

Hello, I have been buying and swapping coins like that for a while now but still missing some common examples like:

Most king of Thailand ( Only got Rama IX for now and really would like to have more like this one https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces11097.html )
Also some quite common examples still missing:

My goal is to have a portrait of every king, emperor, duke and pope ever putting his portrait on a coin so if anyone got some of those for swap and can find something he is interested in, in my swaplist I would be happy about an offer.

That being said this is a very interesting way of collecting! Do you ever intend to try to get a King Edward VIII? Out of curiosity, are you looking for those exact coins or just for coins of the same monarch/bust depicted on the linked coins?

Sure an Edward VIII coin would interest me but I think they only made some patterns?

I'am looking for a coin of every monarch. Bigger coins mostly got better portraits so I really like the 19th century copper coins like that Charles X coin (Just thought it was quite common because of the low numista rarity index).

Does your goal include collecting every bust of each monarch too? For instance, Elizabeth II is in her 5th portrait now

there are quite a few Indian Princely State coins with the portrait of Maharajas, Nawabs etc. Not to mention all those German Princely state coins as well!

Well it will become quite big but yes I already put some different busts of the monarchs into the collection. Sometimes they change very much like Queen Elizabeth during her endless long rule, or Queen Victoria, or kings who become king in child age like Mihai I of romania.
Right now I got 78 different monarchs/popes/dukes in my collection + 13 coins with different types of busts/age of the ruler. Most of them are quite common and some are not in a very good condition but I don't have a big budget.
My 2 rules are not to put commemoratives made after the death of the ruler or dictators/presidents into this collection. Beside that I even look for coins showing the kings of Swaziland or other African, Asian or Polynesian monarchs.

All the Ramas of Thailand have been on various coins struck during the reign of Rama IX. Also, Gibraltar, as part of their series of Kings and Queens issued a half crown and a crown depicting Edward VIII. All are readily available. Are you looking for coins from their individual reigns, or just coins that depict them? Maybe consider banknotes as well.

​If the denomination is not very important to you, then you can still save a lot of money as long as the portrait is the same. Of course, many times, portraits are only on the highest denomination or collector coins such as in several gulf Countries like Kuwait, Qatar and the UAE. Are you restricting yourself to only circulation coins?

Definitely only circulating coins struck under the rule of the monarch shown on the coin. The only exceptions are coins like the Queen Victoria 1 Penny still made some month after her death.
I personally don’t like those international commemoratives made by North Korea and other third world countries + micro colonies of the British empire.

I remember in the early days of collecting I was trying to get at least one coin portrait of every British monarch... then I would line them up back to back to observe how each bust faced in the opposite direction from their predecessor.

I ended up going all the way back to Charles II, with whom the bust tradition started; filled in Edward VIII with a medallion.

You should try to get some Roman coins too. There are really beautiful portraits on them.
