A new crown has been made for the late "king of Finland"

I will post pictures of it. There is a museum called Milavida that shows architecture, common and not so common items, dressing...Until 1918. Soon, also the crown of the king of Finland. A golden copy has been produced with a large blue jewel on top, matching the drawings. Even though its not an original one (there never was an original, only the drawings) it is an beautiful and simple crown.

Milavida is in Tampere, my home city. I will visit it once the crown is placed there. Also, there is a nice "Russian eagle" antique large bronze eagle, given to Tampere by one of the Russian tsars.
Following!
I visited the Milavida museum. Here is some photos:

Made me feel like Finland was a monarchy.
Thank you for sharing!

Looks like it was a fun day out. It really is a beautiful crown, very classic.
How was the cake?

Tasty. The museum looks almost exactly as it did in the 19th century. They restored the house 2 years ago. Its a beautiful house.
Wow, that must have been awesome. I love faithful restoration.

We have very few older buildings here. That alone must have been a real treat. Were there many displays/exhibits?

I forgot to answer the last question: yes, the cake was good.

There was 2: The one about the "king of Finland" and a larger one about the Nottbeck family who once lived in the Milavida house.

Only a few hundred meters away, there is the Lenin museum that has Lenin's jacket, Finnish civil war communist coins and many important items from the USSR. The Lenin museum was founded probably when Lenin was still alive...

Lenin's cane once was in this museum, but Kekkonen gave it to the soviet union as a present.
