Are these stamps worth anything?

Perhaps a more skilled philatelist with a sharp eye can see a rarity in there, but I don't think so; those are basically 0,50€ stamps to me.

I sold a large collection (over 1000 stamps) about a year ago and did a lot of market research on stamps, about a third of those were Hungarian just like these are. I doubt you could get even 1 euro for the lot, these are printed in very large numbers and are sold by the hundreds for just a few euros at flea markets.

Stamp collecting is on the decline, it has been for a while now, probably due to the digital age and lack of new collectors. Entire collections of common stamps are being sold off for less then the bullion value of a large silver coin.

This is both a good and bad thing, good if you're a collector since you'll get a large collection very fast and cheap but bad if you wanna make some money off of them or wanna use them as a investment.

Then it is time to buy those old stamps that are being sold. I got 200 stamps from the grand dychy of finland for 1.6€.

Indeed i think it is time to buy stamps if you want cheap prices. Over the two last decades, the prices of stamps has impressively decreased, and most of them are worth nothing. And this is very rare to see a stamp sold for more or less its catalogue value.

Same here, often I can find lots with 100+ stamps at very low prices, which I usually exchange versus few semi-rare coins when possible:)

Usually the stamps I but a 0,50€ or 1€ each at the same dealers who sell coins are older issues, sometimes British, French, German or Italian colonial and pre-WW2 issues, so I'm sure post WW2 stamps printed in the millions are going to be worth even less.
