As there is no mintmark, I guess that coin is from Calcutta (Kolkata).

It is catalogued in Krause reference # 1.
It is quite a common coin if you notice the raity index in Numista catalogue.

Wait, the 1 Pice 1952 Calcutta mint is not catalogued. It might be rare.
