Chance now to own a scarce piece of German and English heritage. George prince of Wales (soon to be king G IV) was prince regent of the UK during his fathers final years and this was also the regent of Hannover. Somehow he ended up taking charge of the house of Brunswick- Wolfenbuttel maybe because his wife was from there ?
Due to Karl II being an infant and unable to rule.
This piece has the legend styled Tyler as Prince Regent. I’ve never seen this on another coin of the British monarchs. they generally stay the same until there is a new king.
