Britannia edge privy marks

Can anyone tell me how many different edge privy marks exist on Britannia coins?

Edge Privy marks are Snake, Horse, Ram and Rooster. These are the only ones I know. New ones crop up from time to time, you will need to keep looking Frank. Cheers, Croffer.

Just so you are aware Frank, the Snake, Horse and Ram are fairly easy to get, but the Rooster seems to be quite scarce. Keep looking, Croffer.

I've looked at the prices on Ebay - the rooster is out of my league! - and the others are quite pricey.

Hi again, just remembered that the 2017 anniversary Britannia has a special trident mint mark. This is still available at a reasonable price direct from the Royal mint. Cheers, Croffer.

Hi Frank hope you had a good Christmas, and all the best for the new year. Regarding a monkey privy mark on Britannia, this is one I have not seen, and no mention of it on the Numista Britannia page. I think there might have been one on the Canadian Maple Leaf but that's the only one. If you find one, let me know. Cheers, Graeme.

It's Croffer again Frank, I found the monkey privy mark, extremely short run, very expensive, some for sale from America. Approx £80. Hope this helps. C.

Hi Frank, all Privy marks are limited production runs, the monkey seems to be one of the shortest ones. I think the only way to find out when the runs are, will be to get the Royal Mint info magazine. Good hunting, C.

These Britannias with dog privy mark are only available from GoldCo.com. This is a USA gold selling company and their feedback needs careful reading. They were responsible for the Rooster privy mark and possibly the monkey privy, but I cannot verify this. It is possible that the dog privy mark may become available later this year. Keep watching Ebay.

I wish I had not got involved with these Britannia Privy coins. I have got a Rooster from Germany so I am up to date apart from the Dog. Goldco tell me that they do not ship to the UK so as you say I shall have to watch on Ebay.
I do not think that the Royal Mint are being very ethical about these exclusive deals - it seems a shame that bona fide collectors are excluded from the coins of their own country.

Does anyone know anything about an 2017 Britannia with the Dog instead of the rooster on the rim?

In answer to your question, there was a Britannia released in 2818 with a dog/fox edge privy mark. Altogether ther were four Britannias released in 2018.  Other privy marks were, Cockerell 2017, horse 2014 , snake 2013, ram horns 2015, monkey 2016, mouse 2020.

Thanks for your quick answer. I have a 2017 piece with the dog instead of the rooster on the rim. I already uploaded a picture but it's still under review. I am interested how rare this coin with the wrong edge is.

Just as a matter of interest, some Britannias were produced in America by one of their Mints.  Those Britannias had a Pig privy mark and are very scarce due to the fact that they were not allowed to be sold outside the USA.  I tried contacting the relevant mint, but they flat out refused to let me buy one.
