Coastal Marin coin

Hello,

There are several small communities in coastal Marin County, California that decided to work together and have released a $3.00 coin that can be used at a plethora of shops in the region. The thought is that many people will buy them and keep them as souvenirs and the difference between their production cost and face value would be used support local nonprofits. The description is here:

Are these already in the Numista database? It's a bit harder trying to track down tokens.

Thank you!

So, I was about to add this "coin" to the catalogue but I couldn't decide whether this goes to the Exonumia or Token section.

In Token it might be:
* United States - Local Tokens
* United States - So-called Dollars
* United States - Tokens

Exonumia it might be
* Fantasy issues - United States

And that's as far as I've got.

Any thoughts on this?
Hello.
In the Exonumia section there are fantasies - non-payment coins. Since this coin can pay for something, it should be placed in the section of local tokens.
Such a page will be published after some changes.

Great explanation, I read another old topic regarding the difference between the two and wasn't quite clear.

Thank you, Cyrillius, for the explanation and for the page!
