2017 coins added to Numista in 975 days, or 2.06 coins added per day since the day I joined! The coin that made it 2017 was this one. Why don't you all post what your coin per day ratio is!
Yes, they are called an "Osella". They were presentation pieces to commemorate events in gold or silver. Even the silver ones had regular weight (~9.6 grams) and double weight (19.3 grams). There were a lot of them, all the way through 1797. The list of them is here. 121 added to Numista so far.
In the 5 months since I started adding coins, I've added 420; that's an average of 2.8 per day.
To be fair I've been a member since 2014, but I mainly minded my own business for the first year and half, and when I became a referee, I first only began to uniform existing pages.
Began adding coins during boring lectures and my free periods during exam period (June); and continued doing it since. I usually add 10-20 coins in one go, then go inactive for a few days, and repeat.
